Tight swaddling is a definite no!

Tight swaddling means exactly the position of the child for which our all-knowing grandmothers so advocated - “a child in line,” with arms and legs wrapped. Today, the world has completely abandoned tight swaddling, since experts are firmly convinced that this method is unacceptable and even in maternity hospitals, children have not been swaddled in this way for a long time.

Today it has been proven that complete immobilization significantly slows down the development of a child, is fraught with weakening of blood flow in his internal organs, contributes to skin irritation, the formation of wounds and diaper rash, disruption of the body’s temperature balance due to possible overheating, and can even cause breathing problems.

But this is not the most important thing. It turned out that the technique of tightly swaddling legs has absolutely nothing to do with their future slimness! Moreover, such violence against a child can lead to hip dysplasia, a rather complex orthopedic pathology. Under the influence of the progressive public, tight swaddling sank into oblivion, and was replaced by loose swaddling.
